New Mexico: Santa Fe and outer limits

I was so excited to find myself in Santa Fe for my friends Wyatt and Jena’s wedding. I wanted so much to be in the desert and feel the intensity of the sun on my face and breathe that strong air. Santa Fe is many things: quaint, colorful, spiritual, artsy, and slow. It was a welcomed break from NYC. It was a good back to basics: green chile and pinto beans. Life is lax but compared to NYC it is ghostly. We stayed at the Saint Francis, dipped in pools at Ten Thousand Waves, ate at Cowgirls BBQ, drank a vodka drink at Pink Adobe and ate breakfast mostly at Pascuals. Oh and we did tons of vintage, thrift, and consignment shopping.  Long car rides in the desert made for interesting girl conversations.
